• Risk assessments (subject matter expert)

• Project Management

His qualifications and experience include:

• Electrical Fitter / Mechanic (ETC)
• Group I, II & III Competent Person
• Competent Hazardous Area Classifier and Designer for Groups I & II
• Hazardous area installation audits
• Electrical installation & compliance audits
• Detailed knowledge of relevant standards
• 20 years with A.T. Flameproof (now part of Ampcontrol)

Dave Anderson 17 years’ experience in mining and heavy industry as an electrician / instrument technician. For 7 years, he’s had hands-on experience working on gas drainage systems with a focus on instrumentation and analysis. Dave’s areas of expertise include:

• Design of gas condition and quality monitoring systems including gas sampling systems and conditioning circuits
• Design, installation and commissioning of gas extraction equipment
• Hazardous area equipment installation and maintenance
• Instrumentation setup, commissioning, calibration and repair
• Natural Gas Chromatograph (NGC) installation, commissioning and maintenance
• Real-time (fixed) gas analysis systems

His qualifications include:

• Advanced Diploma Electrical Engineering
• Electro-technology Systems Electrician
• Certificate III Industrial Instrumentation
• Qualified Supervisor’s licence
• Project electrical supervisor

Rob King has over 30 years’ experience in large and small companies in the mining industry. As a former Chief Financial Officer – Africa of both Barrick Gold and Placer Dome, Rob has a deep understanding of customers’ needs to generate solutions that make financial sense. He facilitates workshops to help groups build a shared understanding of objectives and build credible action plans to achieve desired outcomes.

Rob has well-recognised mining industry financial and commercial expertise that includes:

• Business process improvement / change management
• Investment decision making
• Business integration
• Supply chain / procurement
• Risk management and corporate governance

Rob holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree, is a CPA and is a graduate member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (GAICD).
